Paddling the
Neches River

Old Cypress One of the many sloughs along the Neches that contain huge cypress trees of years past.
   Welcome Today,

Paddling the Neches River is a collection of my thoughts and experiences paddling along the Neches River in Southeast Texas. It is intended to provide the recreational paddler information that will be helpful in planning and participating in paddles along this fascinating river. It is a work in progress--please let me know of changes or additions that you feel might be helpful.
