Sea Rim

Marsh Unit

May 8, 2004

Jim shows us that you can leash-train an alligator.

We left the Sea Rim March Unit Boat Ramp and travel almost 10 miles, round trip, into several of the lakes in the marsh. Ryan planned the trip and took us through about a six hour trip.

The weather was great, but the wind made paddling through two of the large lakes some great exercise.

The red fish moved in to a small cut for some fast fishing action right on time with the high tide.

Some of the group gets ready to face the wind as we cross a lake.
Ryan checks his compass getting ready to take us to the next lake
