White Bass

Paddling the Northern Sabine River during the months of February to April provides an unique experience for the paddler who enjoys some fast fishing action. It is not unusual to find a 25 fish limit of white bass in the 2 to 4 pound class.

This trip requires an overnight stay north of Toledo Bend Reservoir and needs to be booked early to reserve a spot in the prime fishing months. Trinity River trips are also available.
Coolers on the back of kayaks are filled with fish.

Limits of white bass like the one above are common.
